I ran a Ranger with bow attacks and a pair of daggers :\ Forgot to change equipment when I switched from R/A back to Burning Arrow R/Mo. Luckily it was just AB so we beat the Luxons 500-70.

Did Vanquish with Heroes and Hench from
ToA -> Talmark Wilderness -> Majesty's Rest (skipped - cause i met "someone" i was not prepared for) -> Sage Lands -> Mamnoon Lagoon -> Silverwood -> Ettin's Back -> Reed Bog -> The Falls -> Dry Top -> Tangel Root (there i got disconnected from game - and an update was installed - and i could not get back to Tangel Root :-(

AND after the first two areas i found out that i had 100k in my inventory

- but i decided to continue

And in the last area i got disconnected and unable to get back

Worst ownage...

Sold stuff to merchant when i didn't mean to, such as a good weapon, or some materials I was saving.

And bought crap such as Shiro Blades on my sin only to realize how much they sucked...so that was lots of money down the tube. I don't think I've played him since.

Back in the days of running crystals in elona's reach, a guy tried to scam me and not pay what he said he would. So I offered to turn in the last crystal in exchange for his armor as collateral, while he got the money from his chest.

He didn't pay so I returned his new armor AFTER salvaging it into material!

This was by far my favorite day in Guild Wars history, and I have screen shots of the whole thing with him whinning for me to give him his new armor or he'd report that I was scamming him. My guild so belly rolled over that one.

"I'm going to report you dude. That's my armor and you can't wear it dude. Give me back my armor or I'll report you." "No, I'm not paying for the run. PPLEASSEEE give me back my armor." I only wanted a modest 1K... I was reliable and super fast (used a ranger).

ummm.. just the other day. (and this is just one example) i asked a friend to buy some some 20/20 sundering tangs for my daggers. gave them 6k for them and ran over to the merchant to empty my inventory before i put them on my daggers. well... i am in the habit of just deleting anything white, blue or purple... ouch... bye bye dagger tangs. less than 10secs it took me

At 3am last night, I was lucky enough to be invited into a friends r12 group for HA. (I am r5!) So I was running the relic in HoH, it was the last 20 seconds, and I got crippled. I was pinging "I'm crippled" like crazy, thinking to myself "omg, what are they doing? We're going to lose!" when my friend pointed out to me that I have mend body and soul on my bar.

At that point I decided that I was really, really sleep deprived, and crawled red faced into bed.

(And yes, we lost, by about 2 seconds)

Wow, that goes beyond self ownage, into utter stupidity.

Not so much self ownage, but was runninng in sway in HA today, joined a pug, and promptly won UW. however, the leader left as soon as he got his 1 fame, and he had the taint hero. So we are fighting in Fetid with 6 players, and a Zaishen Fighter and Healer. We flawless them. Then we go and fight a guild group in Burial, and win in under 5 mins. Our run of amazingness petered out in the Relic run, but it was still some screenshots for the ages.

Playing Mes in RA tried a bright spark build using Frenzied Defence while totally forgetting I couldn't bring a prot cover

Needless to say I died within seconds and was ridiculed by all!

Did Glint Mission (Tyria) in HM this morning with guildie. Team ready to go when I realise I want an elemental weapon to combat one of the Glint skills. I swap heroes to one that is storing the sword to get what I wanted.

On the first degen area we talked about how the degen must have really been ramped up in HM, and in the 3rd area my buddy spots the problem. The litany goes something like this :
1) We have Jora in the party instead of Dunkoro
2) Jora has no weapon
3) Jora is set to Pacify
4) Jora's skills are set for running chests (nothing in attack on the whole bar)
5) After equipping a weapon she doest have the sword attribute to use it to full effect
6) The only monk in the party is my guildie's Prot monk!!! We have no heal monk in the party.

I was all for giving up but my mate wanted to see how far we could get. We managed the whole thing in the end - it got very hairy in the last fall down area with the larger groups. The only man to go down in the bonus (Glint) was me, but that was when he was less than 10% health. Probably got my just deserts there for making the big blunder in the first place.

People keep wanting to join my alliance and then leaving almost instantly! it's only 1000g but these idiots are starting to get annoying, just yesterday i added a guild and within 5 minutes he left?

I have heard of it with joining guilds but i did not know it was so common for people to join other alliance and then leave only moments after, what a waste of five minutes, it makes you wonder what goes through there heads...

deciding to build a 55 monk finally, spending the time to work on him, level him up, etc. Getting to Droks and buying the best armor for him (and buying all the materials needed) only to realize, 60k later, that there was no need to buy armor for a 55 monk and that it actually hinders several skills to have high armor... going back and buying armor in ascalon city for the 15 armor XD
